AI is already becoming part of everyday work in print, from helping teams respond to customers faster to making production workflows smoother and more efficient.

Created for FESPA’s Youth Engagement Day, this session will give young people a practical look at how AI is being used across quoting, prepress, customer service, scheduling, and admin. Rather than focusing heavily on statistics, it will show clear, relatable examples of where AI can save time, reduce repetitive work, and help print businesses work at a faster pace.

The session will also explore how customer expectations are changing. People now expect quick replies, simple ordering, and personalised service, and AI can help print businesses meet those expectations without adding pressure to teams.

In the interactive workshop, participants will see a live build of an AI email drafter using n8n. They will also get a straightforward introduction to orchestration tools, how to choose the right AI model, and how to keep AI costs under control.

By the end, attendees will leave with a practical AI-powered workflow they can understand, adapt, and apply to real print industry situations.
