Humanity is at a critical juncture. Its accelerated alteration of  the planet does not bode well. We must act, and we must do  so for our children, for our grandchildren... for future  generations and even for ourselves... for life on Earth. 

At the same time, enormous business opportunities are  opening up for us. There is nothing incompatible between the  business world, properly understood, and improving our  environment in search of a lasting balance. In fact, the tools to  do so already exist. We just need to apply them. 

Never before have we needed such clear values, firmly rooted  within us, to achieve a more fulfilling life. As in the great  revolutions of history, we need to reach a critical mass that will  finally bring about irreversible change toward a better world.
