As an alternative to the subway (U-Bahn), you can travel by S-Bahn from Munich or Erding:

  • Take the S-Bahn line 2 to the Riem stop,

  • and get off at the Am Messesee stop to get to the West entrance, or the Messestadt Ost stop to get to the East entrance.

Travel by train to Munich Central Station. From here, you can reach the exhibition center directly on the subway, with a rental car, or by taxi. If you’re coming by rental car or taxi, then expect the journey to take at least 25 minutes. The fixed price for a single taxi journey to the exhibition center is € 43.

Numerous taxis are available at the taxi stands around the Central Station—at Messe München you will find them in front of all the open entrances, or at the taxi stand in front of the ICM.

BEWARE OF SCAMS

Exhibitors are being targeted by companies claiming to be, or work with, the event organisers. They use event branding and may appear genuine. In the past this has included offering good rates on hotel bookings. All exhibitors should check the small print before signing anything relating to FESPA's exhibitions and events and thoroughly check out the company to ensure they are genuine.
